Overview
This topic provides a step-by-step procedure to create and manage Alerts.
Before You Begin
You should have DynThings platform up & running without any issue, including:
DynThings Web Portal.
DynThings Background Service.
Mail Server, and make sure that you have configured DynThings Background Service.
Manage Your Alerts
1- Open DynThings Web Portal.
2- Using the navigation panel, click on "Alerts" under the "Administration" section.
3- Click on "New" to create new Location, or click on "Edit" button beside the Location that you want to modify.
4- Fill the required info as the following:

 The alert title will be delivered to all notified users.  |

 Disable or Enable the selected alert.  |

 The message will be delivered to all notified users. You generate a dynamic message using the available tags: [Thing], [EndPoint], [EndPointType], [Value], [Measurement] and [TimeStamp]. Example: Alert from [Thing], reported [EndpointType]: [Value] [Measurement] @[TimeStamp] Result: Alert from Pump 1, reported Temperature: 56 degrees @13:22:51  | 
Schedule
You can specify the working hours for the alert by selecting days and hours.
Conditions
You can specify the rules for alerts generation process, make sure to have 1 mandatory rule at least.
Alert Users
You can specify the users who will be notified by this alert.
